I worked at Cerus Corporation full-time (More than a year)

Pay was very good. Location was great.

Management is very misdirected. There' seems to be very little time or interest in their personnel. I found it very difficult to approach my manager. The 3 man team I was in left me feeling lonely. It was like I was working with a cyborg and a dictator. Very unhealthy. This by far was the stuffiest and oldest community I ever had to withstand. Very stubborn and unfriendly residual employees who probably need to retire. You will be back stabbed. Poor team environment. No growth potential whatsoever. Be ready to stay in the position you are hired for.

    Advice to Management

Communicate with your employees or at least pretend to care. Admit to your mistakes. My manager was afraid to admit error, he was never wrong. I find this a very poor character trait. How can you expect to grow if you can't even admit you have flaws. Encouragement team involvement. Take the plug out of the Cyborg and let him become human.
