I have been working at Children Of America full-time (Less than a year)

-if management is horrible, than you have the help of some great teachers there -students are awesome

    - directors does not have your back as a teacher at all, they never do - lack of communication - directors does not follow the correct procedures when handling the problem - directors brush problems under the rug because they simply do not want to deal with it - low pay, but is expected to do everything - supplies for classroom is always limited or barely even there; this forces the classroom teacher to buy everything for their classroom; toys, art supplies, materials for instructional lesson plans - i've been working there for a few months and never received my 30 day review or my 90 day review, I was never observed in the classroom -does not follow the serving menu at all - I had to get out, most toxic environment ever and the directors are the one to blame

    Advice to Management

Directors need to communicate more with their staff and find answers. A simple "we'll see" is not good enough. Higher up managers should provide more and ongoing training for the directors and should see if the people they pick are well qualified (if they have the college cardinals)
