More laid back sales atmosphere compared to ex: retail sales settings. Location hours are decent. PTO Days are above Avg, as well as Sick Days. Advancement is either Mgt positions within the store locations, or going to Business Specialist side (out of branch).
Credit Card sales, Lending sales with Home Equity Loans&LOC, Student Loans. Commission for the different categories are not uniform results so you never know what each specific sale will earn. A hybrid Profit and Loss structure frustrates employees because of vague commission payouts. Advancement to a management role(Asst Branch Mgr, and Branch Manager) are known to consistently receive low Salary job offers. No drug tests so many employees engage in extracurricular activities leading to less than stellar work environment and low morale for the other employees.
Advice to Management
Find a way to track PTO days used by Asst & Branch manager (salaried employees who don't have to record their hours) to eliminate Abuse of time which leads to disgruntled Bankers. Work on being more diligent about who you hire from outside the company when hiring for Branch Manager and Assistant Manager.
