I worked at Classic Party Rentals full-time (Less than a year)
Really nice people. The largest company in the industry. If you get into marketing, you may love your job, but their expectations on deliverables is pretty high.
They don't pay you nearly enough for the job. It's basically down to a skeleton crew in a miniscule corporate office that handles junk inventory for over 24 websites that are completely identical. They're slowly rebuilding after a bankruptcy and hire temps to save money on medical care. They do not promote from within. Instead, they opt to hire outside the company, which pretty much sums up to a dead end job in the wrong position. Morale is replaced by patch jobs for financial leakage, and those that actually know what they're doing are quickly replaced by incompetent workers. ...and the laziest workers stay at this job, as there is very little oversight. Yet, new hires are expected to do all the work at chump change. It's almost as if they congratulate the least experienced. Though, the boss they had me working under is a true professional and I deeply respect and admire his ability to get things done. He's a bit condescending, but he jokes around a lot. That bit of levity kind of takes away from the stress a bit.
Advice to Management
There is no advice that I can give to anyone at this company that matters that will listen to reason.
