I have been working at Coca-Cola Bottling Consolidated part-time (Less than a year)
Your income is only limited to how much you want to work. Work weeks easily exceed 40 hours if you want them to so that helps bring in a nice check depending on how many days you work. Also they like to promote from within so if you show them your interest you can move up quickly.
Work shifts can reach up to 11+ hours depending on volume for the day if you work second shift. If you are not performing a forklift related job then it can be very draining and physically demanding. Once we are completed with our primary job for the night we all have to do cleanup which I feel like only adds on extra hours and they should have a team to come in for that after working 10+ shifts.
Advice to Management
Be more flexible and bring in individuals to do cleanup at the end of 2nd shift.
