Great location, technically savvy team, not afraid to advance processes. The campus is top notch with great of attention paid to keeping employees there, happy & engaged. Pay is OK, equity is offered for many positions. If you have a great manager you will love working here.
Qtr ends are rough company-wide, reporting time frames are pretty unrealistic, career growth isn't the best. All of this is known and the management team is supposedly working on making it all better. All departments are too segregated from each other with no formal communication or management structure overlaying the whole company. I would bet most G&A people don't even know what commvault's products actually do.
Advice to Management
Hire the right people at the lower levels and let them grow into the managers you want/need. Get rid of the under-performing management and make the company young and fresh again. Embrace the over-performing management and let them do their jobs and grow. In general, Departments are way to segregated and left to do their own things, which causes lots of extra work company wide.
