I have been working at Connolly full-time (More than a year)
I like my role and what I do. I like the local audit and my peers. I guess you could say the relationships are good.
Rewards/recognition/benefits. I came in the door at connolly with the understanding that it was going to be a lot better than what it is. Since I was hired the company seems like they went broke. Knowing the IT side of things... the company is definitlt not broke.Someone up top just removed any incentive there is to stay. There is no more bonus. The yearly increase has lowered... no more budget for anything and the attitudes are definitely changing. People were used to the smaller company mentality with high moral. Now it has become the usual "it's just business" is the reason why we are removing all the incentives. We make more money each month and we are removing benefits?
Advice to Management
Companies that have a good brand not only perform for their clients..... they perform for their employees. Since I was hired at connolly/I health I had the understanding I was going to get semi annual bonus. Then was informed it was discontinuing(did not receive). I had to wait a year and a half for a raise I calculated at 2%. When the next annual raise comes around I will be just shy of 3 years. One of my bigger concept development projects I have contributed to the company in the amount of 25 times my salary. Again, Only one of my projects. I came to this company with high expectations. The people that referred me loved it. Now those same people are heading out the door and I think it is the right move to follow. Take the experience I have gained and move on.
