This is a great place for someone right out of college. If you are an older worker you will feel ostracized and not part of the group unless you are a vice president and have been with the company since it started (there are a couple of them hanging around). What I mean by older worker is anyone who enters the company and is say 28 years old and up. This company likes to hire 20 to 22 year olds.
This company, Culver Careers, has a lot of cliques and if you are not part of the "in" crowd you can forget promotions beyond a certain level. They say merit based promotions, but speaking from personal experience, I made Circle of Excellence, billed over $200k in a calendar year, and still could not become a branch manager. Yet they were promoting younger people with lesser records of achievement regularly.
Advice to Management
Get over yourselves. You are not the pinnacle of the recruiting profession or even great leaders, just cheap skates. They make much of the fact that Mike Hobbs, president of the company, promoted into the position without needing a college degree - guess what folks it shows!
