    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Darigold full-time (More than 3 years)

I have been here two years and I love this company and the people I work with. There aren't a lot of politics except what I will call out in "cons". The pay is a bit below market but the benefits are very good and we are asked our opinion quite often on what helps us want to stay. It's the good environment of great people to work with for me - and the quality products we produce. I like that upper management (except one or two) are all very open and friendly and hardworking. This has not been the case in many places I have worked (4 employers so far and I am in my early 30s).

I came at a time when there was a lot of change with upper management and that lasted for about a year on a regular basis. Lots of my co workers talk about it and it worries them - including me. We hope we are going to be stable soon. We have some really good new leaders and see a lot of great changes, especially in operations and human resources - finally! However, the new CEO seems to be down on certain people or out to blame them and gets really hot about it so everyone is walking on egg shells. It's sad to see when you know people are really trying to improve things but at times it seems like there is lot of blame and finger pointing now happening from the top and we are just waiting for it to come our way, or another VP to bite the dust for something they had no control over (from what we can tell).

    Advice to Management

Give us some faith in our leaders and maybe give them a chance to prove some great long term results. Recognize there is only so much we can do against market pricing and forces beyond our control in corporate operations - but look at all we have accomplished! in my two plus years, it is truly amazing what we have improved in systems and communications and processes - along with a higher calibur of employees! Thank you.
