I worked at Dillard's full-time (More than 5 years)
401k, two weeks oaid vacation, paid birthday and paid holidays. They are probably hiring part-timers now and firing the full-timers to save some money.
There is no fairness with the new employees that try to climb up the ladder. The old sales people or the ones that have been there for more than 10 years steal or take most of the sales even if they don't belong to the department within the store they are working in. There is no loyalty.
Advice to Management
Be fair to everybody and schedule everybody at the location where they can sell the most.
