Terrible pay rate system (Sales per hour) A lot of work takes time away from selling but you are still expected to sell as if the tasks didn't exist. Upper management is highly inpersonal and the perception of threats, to managers and their associates, is real. Tenure means nothing and pay cuts are routine! Too much turnover! Compettion is not constructed to aid the work environment and turns the team into "camps."
Advice to Management
Communication needs to be more supportive and constructive. Sales Per Hour is not working and increasing the costs of employees due to massive turnover. You sold your fate when you sold the Company bank, and now you are bound by GE Credit and it is putting terrific pressure on associates; further customers are leary of the Dillard's AMEX program.
