I have been working at Driveline Retail Merchandising part-time (More than a year)

+I started out on a little more than 9 dollars and I'm only part time. +I love the flexibility this job has, but I worry that the flexibility won't be like this forever (check cons). I can work anytime monday through friday and early morning to 5 p.m. +They (My District Manager) are very understanding when it comes to be compensated for overtime and helping you with a problem you don't understand. +You don't have to interact with people, unless you want to. You are only required to tell the manager you are there to do a job though. There are always workers that aren't doing anything that will chat you up if you like that as well.

-A lot of workers have trouble turning things in on time and doing jobs right, and I can feel the reigns tightening on the once flex rules we use to have. We use to be able to go to a store at any time it was open to complete work, and now we can't do work past 5 in stores. Rules are getting stricter on how we do our work as well. -Hours are very inconsistent, and I feel like most of the time there is never any work to do. (Our company is losing work due to workers not be able to do a good enough job) -You'll get new work all the time, and have to read (& print) so many papers you'll definitely feel overwhelmed. -I never received formal training, don't know if that's common. -You have to print out required paper and drive to different store to complete jobs, consider if the printing and gas money are worth the $9 an hour -It's so important to get your paper signed and snap a picture of it, because if something goes wrong people love to throw you under the bus for things you didn't do. -You have to have a phone/computer/camera to take a picture of your finished work and upload it. Definitely a problem if you don't have access to these things
