    I worked at EMW HOLDINGS full-time (More than a year)


    good camaraderie between employees on the site. In the same boat.


    Pay is over 30% below industry average if you work in Information Technology and have your certifications. Expect their people on ground to perform fill in duties in other positions without incentives. Few employees on ground are truly qualified and they pull the weight for the rest. This is due to the low pay and incentives. Not an environment that is appealing for capable outsiders seeking employment. Difficult to get qualified personnel in the spots that have higher visibility. Pay in the jobs that require high level certifications is only 5-10% more than those that do not require certifications. Promise the world to the customer while over-stretching their people on ground. High turnover due to these factors.

    Advice to Management

    Look at increasing pay for the critical positions that require high(er) level certifications. Use salary survey sites as a standard for what is fair to pay your people. Have more company functions and employee appreciation in order to boost morale. Give your more technical people their fair share and you will see more willing and qualified candidates and less dissatisfaction and turnover.
