I worked at Esurance full-time (More than 3 years)

The only real pro is obtaining your insurance license on their dime.

Be prepared to literally hate coming to work stressed out when all you do is take call after call after call with maybe 30 seconds in between calls IF you're lucky. Also get ready to take mainly inner-city calls and turn into a quoting machine only offering state minimums. Esurance stopped selling value and started selling price-drive policies when they adopted their "get a quote in 7 1/2 minutes campaign." Whoever came up with that as well as the people who approved it must not know anything about selling. Get ready to spend the majority of your day dreading your next "313 area code call asking for a coat." Those of you who have a sales job at Esurance know what i'm talking about.

    Advice to Management

Stop setting people up to fail by offering cheap rate for their first term only to raise premiums upon renewal. Retention seems to be a foreign language.
