I worked at Fast Track Urgent Care Center full-time
They have an array of procedures and tests that they do, more than at other urgent cares that I had worked or been at.
Management is ran by the owner and since it is such a small company many things are lacking, outdated, and overlooked. Where management concerns, it is highly sided towards old employees. Staff is under-qualified and overworked. There is only one "room" to triage patients and then dispense them into their rooms, which creates a bottleneck effect and improper care (also because it is only one medical assistant per shift for a heavy load of patients…this is triaging, labs, procedures, etc.). It is worse than a meat factory for triaging and that is the policy I was being taught while there.
Advice to Management
Check the knowledge your staff has and their behavior towards people when you are not looking.
