Having senior level people brought in from the outside with NO Clue about industrial B2B, most of all seemed shocked when dealing with the clients and the realities of the conversations. Leadership also was working under an assumption that IHS's ( the acquiring company) name will overcome any and all objections. The top leader of the organization could not close a door let alone a client.
Advice to Management
Start looking outward for ideas not just rehashing old failed ideas. Make the audience the top priority and get rid of that yahoo.
