I think they are having some identity issues at the moment as they are in a semi-transition period with the growth of the firm and with the downturn in the economy. Also it is not always easy to feel incorporated into the whole firm, due to the studio based nature of the office.
Advice to Management
I think open communication was lacking at times where certain individuals seemed to have information, but it wasn't always shared with others. It sometimes felt if you weren't in the "in" crowd and didn't know what was going on, you were somehow expected to know anyway. More events to bring the whole firm together I think would go a long way towards bridging that gap.
