I have been working at Hardy Process Solutions full-time (More than a year)
Hardy is quite nimble for the most part. Roper Industries, Hardy's parent company, allows Hardy employees significant latitude in regards to how they run the company. Hardy's management also supports that philosophy, and that is empowering. Hardy's products and services are very well regarded within the process automation industry, and employees take pride in that. They are closely connected to the company. There is very little politics, and little fat as well. Everyone here is fully utilized.
Because the Roper philosophy de-emphasizes centralization and bureaucracy, it can be challenging for employees who come from larger organizations, where everyone has a very narrow job definition.
Advice to Management
Continue with the de-centralized, bureau-light philosophy. As the business grows, resist budding attempts to encumber the business with unnecessary rules. Instead, look to pool resources and take advantage of size only where doing so results in savings and increased efficiency.
