We have a new plant manager, who, I believe, given time, will greatly improve all aspects of Heinz, Fremont. He is on the floor, heavily involved with the employees, and genuinely cares and is highly intelligent.
Long hours, no raises, meritocracy (absolutely no incentive to go above and beyond because of this)
Advice to Management
Because of all the drastic, unexpected changes that have occurred, morale is at an all time low. While change is inevitable, there are better ways of implementing change. While I respect that upper management has a job to do, as we all do, there are better ways of achieving your ROI that at the expense of the employees.
