Cool co-workers and free lunch every so often.
Read the reviews previous to this and you will see why employees are so dissatisfied with this company. I will elaborate on a few other points: Unorganized and dysfunctional. Training is poorly and ineffectively done. In many cases training is never completed or does not happen. When you have a question or a problem, upper management doesn’t know the correct answer either. Trying to get a straight story regarding product changes, changes in policy, etc are extremely difficult and kept secretive for no apparent reason. Unprofessional and immature treatment of employees from upper management. Expect to be verbally harassed and berated via e-mail and phone every day. It does not matter how hard you work, they will never recognize or address the time and effort you put into your job. HCD does not treat employees with respect and when you try to bring up a problem to your manager they will see it as a complaint and pay no attention to you. This obviously gets very frustrating and annoying. Quantity of work over quality. Ridiculous and ineffective metrics that do not consider the quality of service representatives give to the customers. Instead they base performance on irrelative statistics such as paperwork time. You end up having to sacrifice quality of service given to the customer which leaves them yelling at you and you feeling helpless. It makes the job even more confusing when changes made to the product line are not explained and when you try to ask you are ignored. HR does not address serious issues when they are brought to them. They look out for their friends at the company and for the upper management. Depending on what position you have they will not handle any of your concerns or will write you off. Good luck getting through to them with serious complaints. I was told by HR after 90 days on the job I would have a one-on-one review with HR and my immediate supervisor. Never happened. I was also told by HR I would have a review after working with the company for one year to discuss a raise in salary. Never happened. Very untrustworthy and deceiving. I was hired for one position but then a couple months after being on the job they decided to all of a sudden switch me to another department which was sudden and unexpected. During the interview process, they were also deceiving about the job description. Many things they said I would be doing never happened and were far from what my job description actually is. Another point to make is asking or requesting PTO. Trying to get more than 2 or 3 days off at a time is very difficult, which makes planning a vacation or taking extended time off practically impossible. There are also no sick days, so you are forced to use your accrued PTO. In sum, this company is upsetting, disappointing, unprofessional and frustrating. If you're looking for job, keep looking.
Advice to Management
Start listening to the questions and concerns from your employees. And actually address them. Perhaps then you wouldn't have so many negative reviews on here. Quit treating employees like children. Start listening to and taking ideas. Quit being so rude and disrespectful to your employees. There is a reason so many people are leaving this company.
