I worked at Hormel full-time (More than 10 years)

Great Training at every level, their is a clear focus on continuous learning. Managers have clear goals and communicate them well. Hormel has a strong focus on employee engagement and work life balance. Working at Hormel you get a very familial feel, as if your part of a family business where everyone owns a piece of the results. Good pay, benefits and career growth opportunity.

Not enough diversity yet, but they are trying. HR is often slow and needs more staff and training. Pay is just average to start, but long term it gets much better.

    Advice to Management

Management needs to quit hiring people that look and act like them. New ideas and new ways of thinking and working need to be embraced. You're a food company so their needs to be more women in leadership roles, quit saying you're working on it and get it done.
