I have been working at Hyundai America Technical Center full-time

Good Benefits, Competitive pay, Opportunities to become involved in many different systems, Opportunities to interact with suppliers, Good place to get a foot into the field

Inconsistent goals between Korean and American teams, unrealistic deadlines, Unclear direction for design teams, inconsistent structuring of engineering teams which leads to confusion of roles.

    Advice to Management

Trust that the engineers and managers you hire have the company's best interest in mind. If you hire someone to fill a position, that person also has valuable experience and knowledge to add. Sure, it is important to continue to practice the "Hyundai Way". But that should not result in pulling responsibility from or writing off the abilities of your American counterparts.
