I worked at Ingersoll Rand full-time (More than a year)

Best coworkers of any job I've had. We were going through a tough transition and fortunately had an excellent department leader at the helm. Pay was above average for the area. They called it "salary" but you still get paid overtime. Great vacation/time off benefits.

I only left IR because I had to relocate. My boss helped me exhaust several options to keep me on at the company, but even though we all had the same paycheck, I was considered an outside candidate to apply for internal job postings in other divisions. Management shifted too often. I had four direct supervisors the first year I worked there. Plus, many upper management left right after I started.

    Advice to Management

Stay in touch with your employees. Don't jump ship after bonuses are paid out.
