I worked at Interstate Hotels full-time (More than a year)
I honestly can't think of any pros. Yes they manage several hotels over 450. Their main focus is revenue.
Lack of training they had someone with me for 4 days for a General managers position at 12 noon. The man said here is your keys to your hotel and left. They do not care about there staff, lack of training and no direction.
Advice to Management
Happy employees will result in happy guests. Keep your Promises and don't lose focus on what's important. It's not always about the money.
