I have been working at Invensys full-time (More than a year)
From speaking with people that do not work on the same project as I do (from other parts of Invensys), the culture, benefits, etc are much better than what we get.
For the specific project I was on: I was on was not "eligible" for most of the benefits that were offered by the company because of the way that the project's HR interpreted it. Compensation doesn't seem to be based on performance. The annual review process is not such of a review, but a regurgitation of what goals were assigned to you from above; completed or not. I had to "earn the right" to use my vacation time, according to HR because I was working overseas.
Advice to Management
On the undisclosed project that I am on, there is no work/life balance. People are expected to be on call 24hrs a day without on call compensation. Work was expected to be 7 days a week when traveling (required overtime) but typical employees were not paid for the first 4 hours every week. There were no bonuses awarded to the people who stayed on the project (overseas) for an extended period even though they were promised.
