I worked at Juniper Networks full-time
Lots of great people with super sharp networking history and knowledge - especially when it comes to service provider and massive web scale companies. It might take a year or four, but the company seems to be able to route around bad management. Witness the CEO changes and general rejection of the MSFT cabal.
Just a bit too attached to ASICS and BGP - yes long histories, but not the job for everything. There are a number of people who seem to be stuck in the company and the networking industry.
Advice to Management
Hire some people from outside of networking, but take it easy on the leadership roles. Crtl-alt-del on security or reinvest in real iron technology there, not pie in the sky stuff.
