I worked at Kennedy Child Study Center full-time
The best part of working here was the time off. You need those days off in order to maintain your sanity.
Upper management (a.k.a the 6th floor) is dishonest and engages in shady business practices - often hiring friends and family members who lack the required experience and New York State certifications for classroom and leadership positions. Compensation needs to be re-evaluated. Staff is paid far less than they would be at other schools.
Advice to Management
Take the time to get to know your employees, compensate fairly and consider qualified internal employees for promotions instead of hiring unqualified friends for management positions. They are not "beneath you." They work hard often in understaffed classrooms, get paid little, and still manage to make this a great place for the kids who attend the school.
