There were occasional employee appreciation days, where they would have some sort of food like sundaes or pizza (for some reason I remember having corn on the cob as well).
The management was horrible at the store I worked at, the credit expectations were ridiculous. I wash't even a cashier (I was a Merchandise Associate) and they were still on my back about how many credit cards I opened, like I wasn't spending all of my shifts clearing out fitting rooms and putting clothes away.
Advice to Management
Do better. Put less pressure on employees, and if you want to be so harsh on them when it comes to getting people to join reward clubs and open up credit cards ATLEAST pay them more than minimum wage
