I have been working at Kroll Ontrack full-time (More than a year)
There are a lot of brilliant, hard working people who have great ideas and are looking to move the company forward. Unfortunately those people are not often listened to. Kroll Ontrack is starting to implement work from home policies and flexibility. New CEO and board are a step in the right direction.
There are people camped out in upper management positions that are riding it out until retirement. Unwilling to help and think creatively to move the company forward. We have unbelievable technology but don't possess the business acumen to know what to do with it and how to profit from it. Good people are underpaid and often leave. No career development plans, young motivated employees are not enabled to succeed unless they leave. You only get a significant raise or a promotion if you threaten to leave.
Advice to Management
Get some new blood in management roles. What worked in 1998 is not necessarily going to keep you afloat. Money motivates people, provide incentives that actually reward people for doing work that benefits the company.
