I worked at Kryterion full-time (More than a year)

Relatively high entry level pay given the position. The employees are enjoyable. It is interesting knowing what goes on behind the scenes of a test taking company.

High turn-over rate. 8+ passwords to manage that change monthly. There was a "restructuring" (i.e. large amounts of people got fired) and as a result, there is no marketing team and product development got neutered. Raises only exist in promotion form and promotions only exist when someone leaves. Nepotism. Various members of management are off-putting and are surprisingly well paid for the lack of job work they perform. No communication between departments. Web-based company software has led to multiple technical issues that have been encountered on a daily basis for years and won't likely be solved (i.e. unexpected system error). Technical issues that customers encounter are a result of company policies (i.e. not telling customers an internet browser can only work if one step is performed due to clients wanting all internet browsers supported). The customers. The position persuaded me not to go into the technical field as a career.

    Advice to Management

Improve the product first and everything will follow suit.
