    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at La Sierra University full-time (More than 3 years)

It can be a positive environment, most of the staff are friendly, and the benefits are decent.

Pay for staff is far below average when compared to other universities (though not for administration from the look of it), and it implements a 36-hour work week. This works out nicely for salaried employees, but for hourly employees, a 36-hour work week means not getting the extra 16 hours on their paychecks compared to a traditional 40-hour work week. There is often little to no room to grow, and getting a job here is often seen as a stepping stone (i.e. getting experience here to then leave and get a "real job") to something better.

    Advice to Management

Review and improve staff salaries to match industry standard, reduce administration salaries (some are still making six figures), stop assisting administration (the highest paid people at this organization) with their mortgages and car notes, and stop worrying so much about student growth and focus on bettering what we already have.
