I have been working at Legacy Healthcare Services full-time (Less than a year)
Company provided training, Flexible hours. Competitive pay. Very supportive supervisors all the way up to the top. There is a true feeling that the company is concerned about their employees and want to retaining the current employees is important. Most rehab companies make their employees feel unappreciated and easily replaceable.
Productivity expectations. I really wish rehab companies would stop this practice. We are dealing with people not items on a conveyor belt. Therapists as a general rule are not goofing around but working hard. Productivity expectations increase the stress and frustration that most therapists feel. We know you have to make a profit but there must be another way than productivity which no other position in healthcare has.
Advice to Management
Get rid of or decrease productivity expectations especially for supervisory roles.
