    I worked at Liquid Technology full-time


    Most of the low level employees are good people who try to make the best out of a bad work day. The work helps the planet by recycling.


    This is about the warehouse work: Oppressive atmosphere, slave wages, dangerous environment, insultin "benefits", old and broken tools, promotion seem racist (all asians in the "cushy" warehouse positions sitting in chairs, black/white/latino get the manual labor & standing all day), warehouse management seem completely not interested in making a good environment for workers, only profits, no breaks exept for one unpaid lunch break. The game is to never tell you how you're doing so you don't think you're worth enough to ask for a raise. Don't fall for it.

    Advice to Management

    Take a good look at the tools you expect people to work with. The mess people have to work in. The chaotic and stressful environment. The pay nobody can live on in new york (most important, even fast food workers are getting $15/hr- good luck when everyone leave to work at mcdonalds). Give every worker a performance review every few months so they know where they stand and what they can do for you to move up. Spend a day doing the warehouse jobs and count how many times you feel unsafe or like you're using wrong or bad tools for the job or trying to "steal" the few good tools from others and then ask yourself why you make other people do that. Get good palet jacks made for heavy loads. Don't make people climb into giant bins to reach others. Find warehouse managers who don't surf the web all day while watching everyone on a camera screen. Make training courses for every job and make a book with do's and don't for each one that employees can study. Every co worker talks about how rules for what they do change every day and nobody is sure if what they are doing is right. Every low level person here feels underaprecated. don't play everything with a poker face, that's my #1 impression of this company that they like to hide their true thoughts about everyone, good and bad. I feel sorry for the many people there who want to leave but can't find anything better
