I have been working at Lockheed Martin full-time (Less than a year)
Work on the 9/80 work schedule which is pretty cool. Get to work on incredible projects and be a part of a great team. Decent job out of college that should help me in the future. Working alongside brilliant engineers. Not micromanaged at all. Very flexible work hours. I am treated like I have been working there for 10 years.
Very old school software development methodologies. Was told it would be a "fast, agile environment" but it is the complete opposite. Very process heavy. Tough for a new grad that was looking for a young atmosphere and collaboration between engineers. Pay is below average for software engineers out of school.
Advice to Management
Spend time actually training new employees on the use of the technology. I received no formal training on the use of the system, coding practices, version control being used, and their development protocol. Get rid of the cubes. Not great for collaboration as it isolated people that should be working together!
