Decent paid time off, but there are not enough pros that could even compare to the cons in this place.
First, the employees have created a nickname for the organization: LRRI-land, due to the ridiculous culture and business practices that are allowed. Morale could not be any lower, due to quarterly lay-offs (which is leadership's opportunity to get rid of anyone they do not like at the moment) and a culture of individuals that tear each other down on a regular basis (a widely accepted and encouraged practice). The common understanding is "you can't trust anyone" and "everyone is replaceable." Recently, the CEO sent out an email noting that raises and bonuses would not be given out for the first time in 20 years, however this was a complete lie. SOME individuals did receive raises and some received bonuses. Save yourself the headache and DO NOT even consider working here.
Advice to Management
When asked in the "State of the Institute" meeting, what management planned to do about the low morale, do you realize you never answered the question? As if you have no clue how terrible morale is and has been for a long time. The majority of your employees are looking for jobs and are accepting the first thing that is offered to them, even if it means taking a pay cut just to get away from this place.
