decent pay, convenient to Metro...located directly next to silver spring metro station, government contracting provides great compensation, nice cafe downstairs, in-building coffee store

This pace is riddled with management issues. They are unorganized, unprofessional, mean, cheap, cut-throat, sheisty, unethical. Just a really bad place to work. Worked for this company for six months as an independent contractor before being hired as a full-time employee. This businmess is family owned and it's horribly disorganized. I have witnessed them lying to their clients, fudge numbers to make work look more productive, force employees to work 36 hour shifts during funding season. If you're not fetching coffee and making yourself into a modern-day slave this is not the place for you. You work experience/qualifications have no merit with this company. Leonard spends up the money on fancy trips and cars while they cut costs to pay for even the smallest supplies. Tanyanique was a moderately easy to work for but for the rest of the company they sucked. I've never felt so humiliated for not fetching coffee in my life. They will hire you, promise you a myriad of things then fire you at the drop of a dime just because of the way the wind blows. I absolutely hated working here. I had heard things from friends that were familiar with Lux and Leonard, the CEO. They tried to warn me but being in dire need of a job after being laid off, I needed to accept the position I was offered. Not long after begninning my tenure, I started to hear the chatter that resting on my laurels was not a great idea. Again, lots of family working at this company and the person I heard this from was family so I trusted their word. They couldn't have been more accurate. This company STAYS in financial disarray and they do things to cover up their misgivings. I just wish some higher up government organization would catch on to their shenanigans and investigate them as well as DB Consulting for fraud. they deserve to atleast be investigated

    Advice to Management

go to ethics training, send your family members to ethics training, stop shorting peoples pay checks
