I worked at MBA IT full-time
Great training, exposure to big clients and senior contacts, good commission (if you are good at it), a close team who are fun, support from Directors and the ability to work alongside the owners of a company, kebab Thursdays and plenty of socialising. MBA really teaches people how to be good at sales and how to value and develop customer relationships, which was especially useful for me as it was my first 'proper' job after university.
Not a role for someone who just wants to turn up and take a salary. There is no hiding in this role! It is predominantly telephone based, especially while you are new and building up your client base so you need to be tough to put up with the cold calling knockbacks, but it's worth it to get the right clients.
Advice to Management
Keep putting in the time with the graduates because from my experience it is really valuable to learn from the owners/Directors of a company. Kebab Fridays.
