    Positive Outlook

I have been working at MHMRA of Harris County full-time (Less than a year)

In the position the schedule is supposed to be flexible but that depends on the Clinical Team Leader. The amount of days you get off is pretty great. You earn a day every pay period and you get paid for all the major holidays. They also offer long term and short term disability if you choose. I enjoy my coworkers and the clients I work with.

The clinical team leader of my team was not what you would want in a supervisor. The workload they expect you handle for the pay and the fact that nobody at the clinic respects the position. The productivity they measure you on is simply impossible to reach 100%. Parking is horrible and everything falls on the Rehab clinician. I believe the position could be better under a different supervisor. The one I have expects you to work the job like you don't have a life outside of it including hours when you are not on the clock. If I knew what I know now about this place I wouldn't have ever accepted this position. In addition to this they do treat you like you are replaceable even though they say it's hard to get fired. You are constantly putting you life in danger meeting new clients in different neighborhoods because they are always changing your clients with no respect for therapeutic rapport. They tell you you can transfer into a different position after six months but positions are rarely posted and then its at the discretion of your supervisor.

    Advice to Management

Visit with some clients once a month and do everything you require the Rehab Clinicians to do then let me know what you think about your productivity measurements.
