I have been working at McGladrey LLP full-time (More than a year)
They are very support of work life balance. They offer great flex working conditions (working from home/remote). The leadership truly believes in you and wants you to grow within the company. They offer a career path and work with you to achieve those goals. I have been here 1.5 years and have no desire to be anywhere else!
Training is a bit lack luster and although we are a national firm, there are definitely different standards between regions which makes things a challenge at time. To advance in your career it is not always clear exactly the steps you need to take to get there.
Advice to Management
Try to be a little more clear on the career path. The Career Paths outlined are clear, but it appears to be very subjective on if you "meet" the criteria to go to the next level. When bringing in new employees, try to pair them up with someone in their field and in their region to help "show them the ropes"
