    I have been working at NAMSA full-time (More than 3 years)


    Good coworkers, low level management does all they can and are supportive of employees. Good career growth in the right departments. Decent pay at mid to upper levels.


    Poor pay at entry level, poor treatment by mid and upper management. Little concern for quality by many mid managers. Terrible career opportunities for entry level. Entry level employees are really treated as disposable, I know one that was actually told she was "replaceable." No support of low level supervisors by mid and upper management. As other have mentioned, very family oriented in that if you belong to the right family, opportunities are endless. Almost all management is promoted from within and the few hired from the outside are quickly driven out because they aren't "one of us" and *gasp* have suggestions for improvement.

    Advice to Management

    Support the technicians doing the work with more staff, resources, and support. It's hard to get good data from over worked, burned out, bitter employees. When making changes, come up with novel ideas (or hire people who can). All I see is the same two ideas to fix problems rotated every year or two, trying to fix long standing issues (that are mostly due to lack of staff).
