Large company, so there is job security. Opportunity to work almost anywhere. Work out of your home. Supplied company vehicle, laptop, tools, and credit card. The company was in a better position when I left than when I started.
The company makes it difficult to recognize individual contributions by employees. The bonus program is set up so it's almost certain the company doesn't pay out. Opportunities to advance your career are almost non-existent if you're a field tech.
Advice to Management
It's nice to have a recognition program, but make it so a manager can distribute points more than 20 times throughout a year. Make it more likely to distribute a bonus to employees on individual performance.
