    The newsroom is full of smart people with solid reporting chops. Benefits, etc. are decent, and there's some flexibility in scheduling.


    Management is scattered, and unrelenting. Reporters are given very few resources and expected to produce a great deal of content. The print/web divide is deeply entrenched and prevents either side from doing their best. High turnover.
