I worked at National Association for College Admission Counseling full-time (More than a year)
Benefits are decent but you can find better many other places. Some staff are friendly but there is a lot of "mean girls" behind the back sort of chatter. Great government and policy department, but that is it.
Everything. No leeway to take initiative. No personal or professional growth. Absolutely no room for promotion. Technologically ANCIENT. Has a huge data team to process payments. Really?
Advice to Management
CHANGE. Stop repeating everything. So many of you haven't been admissions counselors or in the college admissions market for years, do you really understand the people you represent?
