Commission structure is awful Seasoned Sales professionals need not apply! Heavy on engineering type personalities Zero focus on relationship building skills

    Advice to Management

Never should a fresh out of college graduate come into a sales environment and make more money then someone who's been there for seven years. It's a pretty low commission sales environment and when a 23 year old comes in and gets a higher salary just because they have engineer on their degree, there's something wrong with that picture. A seasoned sales person and high earner doesn't have to be an engineer, they need to be well rounded in relationship building and team working skills. Also, talking to a customer doesn't require being an engineer. That's what the field is for.
