Employees are generally nice and easy to make friends with. Company is stable and there are good managers in the domestic and corporate side. Intl underwriting and new business have good leadership. Not asked to work more than 40 hrs a week unless there are projects or system testing needed.

Not much regard for employee satisfaction other than trivial popcorn, a couple catered lunches a year, and a free turkey for thanksgiving. Benefits are expensive! Bonus is $100 every December. Raises only come with a new job or once a year with a 4% of your salary cap IF you exceed expectations. Some international departments are a mess and have little to no structure. Intl premium collections is clueless, intl client services is full of people stuck doing things their way and taking forever to do it. Intl marketing is a joke. The VP is clueless as to what the company does and how unless it comes to repeating what others just said and staring at your body, the Sr. VP covers him. People there push employees in other departments to do their job since they are all new and have no leadership since their boss doesn't know what to do. Intl IPC is full of new people as most of the department has left. Intl Marketing has had 5 long term employees leave due to VP. Also, don't bother going to HR. They let each boss run the department as they please do whatever you say will not be kept confidential.

    Advice to Management

Stop covering for employees and bosses. It is clear to everyone and brings morale down tremendously. People are discouraged from working hard if it is not appreciated or if bosses take credit for all work done and place blame on employees for failures.
