Owners that DO care (contrary to other posts). People that care about what they do, and are motivated to help our society get healthy. Great perks, from a healthy employee discount to top notch benefits, to many way to earn extra incentives as well as FREE nutrition education.
An adapting culture means the consistency store to store isn't quite there yet. A lot of store level turn over that could be staved off by promoting positivity, boosting morale, and team building that goes beyond email competitions. Not much support from upper management when stores are hurting (though this is visibly changing) and rash "band-aid" like decisions that may not always be helpful or best.
Advice to Management
Budget for a floating staff to strategically support your teams in turnover phases so morale and operations remain intact. Promote more experienced leaders who have successfully helped create positive workplaces for your people while still driving sales -cultivate that blend of management and you've locked it in!
