Big space to compete and a lot of merchandise to sell. great place to build customer relationships. very organized work space. good opportunities to move up. The company only hires from with in the company.
When it gets slow they cut hours like crazy. The return policy can really hurt your sales, anyone can return anything basically. even after being used, then that will put a hit on your sales. There are always to many salespeople working at once. you get no benefits of having a Nordstrom card besides using your discount and after a huge amount of money purchased you can start gaining Nordstrom notes. Sometimes to some employees they kind of just throw you on the sales floor.
Advice to Management
Communication on scheduling could be better. Training new employees should be more constructive and effective. Just better communication with employees overall.
