I worked at Northeast Utilities (More than 3 years)

Friendly team workers and work content was interesting. Lots of "hurry up and wait" type of work assignments.

Management does not treat consultants with the respect that consultants gave to the management. They treated consultants as "expendable" and "outside of the work team". Not inclusive. Dark and poorly lit and very cold work environment. No prior notice once consultants are released from contract. No face to face exit interviews.

    Advice to Management

Treat your consultants with the respect that the consultants give you. Golden Rule counts when you want the best from your consultants. Include consultants with your team. Have exit interview using the good style that you initially interview consultants.
