If you get a good SM, then everything is great. Having a strong team of managers in the store makes all the difference. Overall, its not terrible.
The bad SM population outweigh the good SM's. HR is slow to move when there are bad managers or really bad associates.
Advice to Management
You need to have better accountability for Store Managers who do not perform. A successful store begins at the top, if there is a store manager in place who cant/wont or are unable to train, coach and lead the team, that wont get the job done. In the end, its the customer who suffers.
