I worked at Onsite Neonatal Partners part-time (More than a year)
The actual services they provide to the newborns they treat are critical and often life saving
They intentionally are out of network to try to be greedy and get more than a contracted amount would pay out for claims. However that backfires on them because trying to get a claim to pay anything at all is a long ridiculous drawn out process because all the insurance companies know their game and in the end they usually get nothing. And to make matters worse they put their own greed on NEW PARENTS who have enough to deal with and force them to try to help them get their claim paid even though they are the ones choosing to be out of network. And the worst part- if the parents don't help to get them money, they simply send them to collections without a care in the world. They purposely don't tell the moms during their hospital visit that they are out of network in an in network hospital so it's a surprise once the parents are home and receive a bill from them. They claim to be all religious but blind siding and scamming new parents for their own personal greed and gain doesn't seem very holy at all. And not to mention the work structure. Supervisors are people who have only worked there 2-3 years that are rude and talk to you like you're a child. And the workload that is given is equivalent to what about 5 people could handle at once and that's the number one thing all the employees complain about. Unrealistic goals and expectations. No employee appreciation. Absolutely NO room for growth. Dead end.
Advice to Management
All the time and money you waste trying to pull teeth to get these insurance companies to throw you some type of payment and you could just contract and be profitable.........isn't greed one of the seven deadly sins?.....
